SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Orangetheory is seeking a Vice President, Technology, Cloud ERP and HCM who will help accelerate the growth and maturity of the $1B+, 1,500 location organization. The key focus for this experienced technology leader is to enable the global Finance and HR functions at Orangetheory to thrive with a solid application foundation that streamlines business processes and unlocks business value through data.
 
As a key member of the senior technology leadership team, the Vice President, Technology, Cloud ERP and HCM will represent the IT voice with key partners including Finance, Accounting, HR, Supply Chain, Tax, Treasury, and Procurement. We’re looking for a passionate and innovation-minded leader who has a proven track record leading cloud-based transformation projects at enterprise-scale
 
The successful candidate will be an experienced technical leader with Finance and HCM domain knowledge and experience leading SaaS ERP, FP&A and HCM transformation initiatives. You will be operationally strong, with a proven track record of delivery and organizational development. You will have experience scaling organizations in a fast-changing, complex environment. You are comfortable guiding an organization through change and driving a technical vision. This experienced executive will build, coach, develop and lead a world-class Cloud ERP/HCM application team. Hiring and developing high-performing teams is an area where you possess both experience and a passion.
 
A critical first step for this role will be to lead the company and IT through the transformation of business processes and data via the selection, design and implementation of new Cloud ERP and HCM systems which will accelerate the realization of Orangetheory’s global growth strategy. The ideal candidate will be equally great at working collaboratively at all levels, have hands-on experience leading ERP and HCM solution deployments, and demonstrated success leading cross-company transformational change.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Partner with the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Human Resources Officer and their teams to simplify, standardize and automate business processes leveraging industry best practices relating to core Finance and HR operational activities (application packaged business capabilities)
  • Lead a joint business & IT team in delivering transformed business processes, data and master data via the selection, design, deployment and robust adoption of new cloud ERP and HCM solutions. Keen focus on simplified, industry standard processes that are responsive to the evolution of company strategies
  • Grow, develop, scale and lead a high-performance team
  • Develop and manage strategic vendor relationships
  • Build a framework for business engagement that proactively maintains business roadmaps that are technology enabled, completes strategic planning activities, and builds ownership and accountability through joint steering committees and governance processes
  • Provide technology direction, solution design, functional expertise, and program leadership over the transformation of the ERP and HCM strategy and other core systems
  • Serve as a liaison between Business Technology, Finance and vendor stakeholders
  • Lead functional team in the successful configuration, testing, and deployment of the ERP and HCM strategy
  • Select, staff, and manage implementation partners (consultants) to execute the transformation program
  • Align with CFO, CHRO, CTO on internal staffing requirements for the program and provide leadership and direction for the internal business technology team
  • Partner with key functional (Finance, HR, etc.) leaders to design and implement transitional (interim) strategies to manage the cutover and deployment of the ERP and HCM solutions
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Finance Software Engineering, and key functional (Finance, HR, etc.) leaders in selecting the appropriate solution components that align with company standards while also meeting the requirements of the program
  • Partner with risk and security and other shared service teams to ensure systems are secure and proper controls are implemented
  • Responsible for leading team members and actively participating in business requirements definition, functional design, configuration, testing, and implementation
  • Partner with CFO, CHRO, and other functional leaders to develop and implement robust organizational change management plans to ensure rapid successful adoption of new processes and accountabilities
  • Constantly assess and action methods to reduce complexity in the landscape including retirement or optimizing the value of legacy applications
  • Rollout continuous improvement and Agile methodologies that provide the business with continuous delivery and value
  • Operational accountability ensuring the availability and health of the applications
 REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field or equivalent with 10 years relevant experience; or 15 years equivalent work experience, and 10+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience leading 2-3 large scale ERP program implementations including experience with business capability mapping, tool selection, capacity planning, implementation, user-adoption and post-production support
  • Sound ability to translate finance and HR strategy into crisp business process maps, activities, tasks, and business requirements
  • Solid Finance and HR background and knowledge for accounting, consolidation, FP&A tax, payroll and benefits processes
  • Strong knowledge of SOX and compliance practices
  • Experience working closely with senior executives, understanding priorities, what information is needed to support decisions and confident in delivering presentations and advisement to senior leaders
  • Experience working with SI's and holding them accountable to scope, timelines and budget
  • Ability to work across a complex organization to create needed alignment and harness relationships and sphere of influence
  • Ability to assess and manage risks and opportunities to drive success of large-scale programs

POSITION TYPE
This is a full-time position based in our Boca Raton, FL headquarters. This position reports directly to the Chief Digital and Technology Officer.
