Technology Services Manager

The Technology Services Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee a team of Tier 3 Cloud and Support that provides direct support to HQ and in studio operators infrastructure that supports our proprietary software and applications developed for OTF studios. To thrive in this role, you will need to be very organized, high aptitude in problem solving, and excellent communication and customer service skills.   
  • Lead the development and support of scalable, secure, technology driven solutions in a team environment and across business units
  • Drive technology innovations, improve productivity and control through standardization
  • Provide hands-on guidance in implementation of chosen technology and build relationships with other management teams, technology teams, and business units
  • Develop and review plans, including business requirements, functional specification, development strategy, staffing requirements and integration with external components
  • Recommends strategic balance of internal and external/outsources resources to manage projects effectively and efficiently and deliver technology
  • Establish and regularly manage financial and staffing plans to deliver on schedule and within budget
  • Assist in developing an operating plan and annual operating and capital budgets for area of responsibility, highlighting the implementation of the technology strategic plan including short- and long-range goals and tactics
  • Manages teams and applies proven communication skills; problem-solving skills; and knowledge of best practices to guide teams on issues related to the design; development; deployment and support of mission-critical information, technology solutions
  • Contribute to defining core competencies and execution plans to improve the team; Leads change management activities to foster an excellent technology team
  • Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure OTF HQ platforms meet existing and future requirements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for support use
  • Establish service level agreements with end users
  • Provides “ownership” of problem thru final resolution
  • Manage and ensure optimal operation of all OTF platform
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent support activities
  • Oversee the administration of user accounts, permissions, and access to our technology resources

  • An understanding of Service Support Centric Environment with Self Service as the main support service tool
  • Experience documenting technical articles and software Training knowledgebase 
  • Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
  • Ability to develop and interpret financial data/plans and manage resources
  • Ability to be forward-thinking and develop and execute on change initiatives
  • Ability to establish and develop community and business partnerships
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
  • 5 years as a Technology Manager/Lead background
  • Excellent knowledge of platform support on technology infrastructure
  • Knowledge of technological systems as they apply to instructional, administrative, and workplace needs
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, and so on
  • Network + Certification / Equivalent experience 
  • CompTIA Project / Equivalent experience 
  • MYSQL/MSSQL Certification / Equivalent experience 
This position directly manages employees.
This is a full-time position located at the corporate headquarters in Boca Raton, FL.
